Białe Hełmy

Bomby beczkowe – czasem wypełnione chlorem – to dziś największy zabójca cywili w Syrii. Nasza neutralna i nieuzbrojona grupa ocaliła ponad 73,5 tys. ludzi od ataków w Syrii, ale do wielu nie możemy dotrzeć. Niektórych dzieci uwięzionych w gruzach nie słyszymy. Rada Bezpieczeństwa ONZ musi żądać wstrzymania używania bomb beczkowych i ustanowienia strefy zakazanej dla samolotów.

Białe Hełmy to niezwykła grupa bohaterów. Byli krawcy, piekarze, nauczyciele i inni zwykli Syryjczycy, skrzyknęli się w 2013 r., by ratować życie innym. Za to, co robią, sami stają się celem. Samoloty rosyjskie i syryjskiego reżimu bombardują cywili, a potem wracają w to samo miejsce, by bombardować ratowników i lekarzy, którzy przybyli w to miejsce, by ratować ludzi.

Zbiórka pieniędzy na działalność Białych Hełmów

„Barrel bombs – sometimes filled with chlorine – are the biggest killer of civilians in Syria today. Our unarmed and neutral rescue workers have saved more than 73,530 people from the attacks in Syria, but there are many we cannot reach. There are children trapped in rubble we cannot hear. The White Helmets are an unlikely group of heroes. These former tailors, bakers, teachers and other ordinary Syrians banded together in 2013 to save the lives others were working so hard to take. They have now saved more than 73,530 lives. But for the work they do, White Helmet volunteers and their civil defence centres are often targeted. Russian and Syrian regime planes bomb civilians, and then they circle back bomb the rescue workers and medical workers who come to help.
